At AFI Europe: Three rental housing projects will offer almost 900 units for rent

The development company AFI Europe is taking stock of the results for last year, in which it fully devoted itself to the implementation of its new corporate strategy focused exclusively on rental housing: It is currently building four buildings in Prague in three residential projects. AFIHOME Třebešín (formerly Tulipa Třebešín) is the furthest in the preparations, which was the first to achieve a rough construction. The house, which will offer a total of 61 housing units, should be completed this year. Another project is the multifunctional complex AFIHOME Karlín with a total of 170 apartments, which will complement the shops and services. He reached the glajcha at the turn of this year. The other two apartment houses are growing in parallel in the new multifunctional district of AFI City. The first of them already has a complete rough construction, the construction of the second building was started in November last year. In addition to rental housing, AFI Europe also approved and sold 80% of the luxury villa houses in Tulipa Třebešín, in which it also created a model apartment under the direction of designer Magdalena Hopkins. The company was also active in the field of commercial real estate and expanded its office portfolio with Avenir Business Park in Prague 5 - Nové Butovice. The company bought it for 66.5 million euros and is now almost completely occupied.

Brumlovka (BB Centrum) welcomed a new tenant, thanks to whom you will discover the world of virtual entertainment

In mid-December, a new tenant - Avatar VR Park - rented the premises of Prague's Brumlovka (BB Center) in Building G. It is the largest virtual reality park in the Czech Republic, which focuses on virtual and augmented reality. Visitors will find action, sports, balance and educational games here. The premises are also equipped with a VR café and are an ideal place for parties and new corporate events. The owner and administrator of the building is the Passerinvest Group.

Contera will build Organica, an intelligent administrative building, in the heart of Ostrava

State-of-the-art technologies including intelligent building control, high-quality archi-tecture, BREEAM Excellent certification and a prestigious address in the newly es-tablished centre of the city. These are the most interesting attributes of the Organi-ca building, the current project of Contera in Ostrava. Once completed in 2023, a major part of the building will be rented by TietoEVRY, an international provider of IT services and one of the biggest employers in the Moravian-Silesian region. How-ever, Organica will offer much more to its users and visitors.

Fait bought the Prague Airport Business Center from Immofinanz

The Austrian company Immofinanz sold the Prague Airport Business Center to the investment fund Jet Industrial Lease (JET) of the Brno billionaire Igor Fait. This is according to today's press release of the law firm bpv Braun Partners, which advised on the sale, and the press release of Jet Investment. The parties did not disclose the value of the transaction. Billionaire Radovan Vítek is interested in taking over Immofinanz.

The commercial real estate market will recover, the analysis showed

This will also be reflected in the commercial real estate market in the Czech Republic. Demand for commercial real estate in the country is still strong. The Czech market is established as highly sought after and provides investors with stable returns. It is well resistant to asset value fluctuations and supported by strong foreign and domestic capital.

Study: Offices do not end, but a hybrid model of work will be more common

The increase in new office space is the lowest in five years this year and the situation will be similar next year. The winner is a hybrid model combining work in the office and from home.

UBM Development Czechia has sold the Astrid Offices office building. The new owner is the investment group Portiva

UBM Development Czechia, which completed and approved the Astrid Offices office building in Prague's Holešovice in May, sold it to the PORTIVA investment group. Both parties have decided not to disclose the amount of the transaction. The property, which has 4,300 m2 of office space and 440 m2 of retail space on the ground floor, is now fully leased. Since December, it has also become the headquarters of UBM Development Czechia, which has moved here from its offices in Liben.
