The DOCK complex on the border of Karlín and Libeň quarters in Prague has received the prestigious global LEED® Gold certification for its sustainable development. The smart software platform Sharry adds extra green points in accordance with ESG principles.

Instead of using plastic access cards, employees working at DOCK’s offices can conveniently open turnstiles or office doors by tapping their mobile phones. They can also reserve parking with a single click via the DOCK mobile app, eliminating the hassle of looking for a free parking spot.

Additionally, complex managers have access to a data tool called Sharry Insights which gives them a detailed overview of the occupancy in individual buildings and premises and allows them to adjust individual services such as reception or cleaning services accordingly.

The mobile app is currently available for companies in the DOCK IN THREE and DOCK IN FOUR buildings and soon also for the DOCK IN FIVE building. The community functions can also be used by all people working in the DOCK IN ONE and DOCK IN TWO buildings.

The DOCK office complex is currently fully occupied. Tenants include Saint-Gobain, Delivery Hero (Dáme jídlo), BNP Paribas Cardif Pojišt'ovna, ASSA ABLOY, LEGO Trading, Publicis, Henkel, Hornbach, and more.

FASTER AND MORE EFFICIENT

With more than 73,000 sqm of premium office space, DOCK is currently the largest Czech office complex utilizing Sharry’s smart workplace platform. By comparison, according to the Prague Research Forum, a total of 76,300 sqm of new office space was expected to be completed in the capital in 2022.

"We have connected several access control systems, including South Korea's Suprema BioStar and C4 from Slovakia, for the DOCK project. As a result, administrators can control who has access to the building, who is allowed into the car park, or send users mobile phone alerts about news in the complex – all through one universal Sharry platform. At the same time, we allow each building or tenant to have specific feature and service settings according to their needs," said Michal Schindler, Head of Technical Solutions at Sharry.

"We have supported the technological modernization and digitalization of the complex with the introduction of Sharry’s app. We have also accelerated and streamlined communication between tenants and building management. The users themselves, i.e. the employees of the individual companies, will certainly appreciate the user-friendliness and the contactless movement around the building. Last but not least, it is a highly effective communication platform with the potential to deepen networking within the entire DOCK complex," adds Jaroslava Hejduková, Head of Office Property Management at Crestyl.

“The DOCK complex is a significant project for the Prague commercial real estate market as the entire neighborhood is going to benefit from this development and from all new services that Crestyl brought to this location,” said David Hartl, Head of Sales and Business Development at Sharry. “We are excited to support Crestyl’s goal to create an attractive and stimulating workspace based on technological innovation and connected through the Sharry smart workplace experience platform.”

ŽIŽKA IN THE APP

How does the Sharry smart platform work in practice? People working in the DOCK offices had a chance to try it out last year when the mobile app sent an invitation to a screening of Jan Žižka blockbuster at a local cinema.

When users arrived at the screening, they received a free welcome drink thanks to the mobile app. They could also use their phone to vote on what film they would like to see at the next screening. Now it's all in the hands of the community manager.
