The construction of new offices is coming to life

from BNP Paribas Real Estate by the end of 2021, almost 40,000 m2 and in the following period over 140,000 m2 of new offices are being prepared by developers in the territory of Prague. The balance is mainly influenced by large and long-term development projects - Port 7 from Skanska in Holešovice or construction in the area of Masaryk's railway station by Penta. Sekyra Group also makes a significant contribution to the offer of new administrative areas with its Smíchov City and Rohanský ostrov projects. Their plans have not yet changed the rising prices of building materials and energy. Nevertheless, construction will reach pre-covid level at the earliest in 2023.

The total area of modern office space in Prague increased to 3.73 million m2 at the end of the first half of 2021.

The seventh year of the Open House Prague 2021 festival attracted more than 53,000 people to normally inaccessible buildings and to attend accompanying programs

During the week, other guided tours and walks were prepared, for example on the occasion of the 130th anniversary of the Prague Exhibition Grounds, 150 years since the construction of the Gröbe Villa in Havlíčkovy sady or 150 years since the arrival of the first train in Prague. "We were surprised by the great public interest in the accompanying program of the Open House Prague 2021 festival," says director Andrea Šenkyříková, adding: "The events were intended for a limited number of people, and despite the fact that we were already fully booked at the beginning of the festival week. "

Open House Prague 2021 starts. Have a look at normally inaccessible buildings

Due to the pandemic, the term Open House Festival was postponed to summer. Dozens of inaccessible buildings open to the general public on the weekend of August 7 and 8, 2021. The festival week starts on Monday, August 2, to offer those interested in architecture a number of interesting accompanying events.

The G4S security agency already operates from building B of the BB Center in Prague

The specialist for providing comprehensive security services, G4S Secure Solutions, is the new tenant of the completely renovated Office Building B. The agency occupied 815 m2 of office space in July this year, adding other renowned companies ABInBev, NEWPS and Alcon Pharmaceuticals.
