The competition, which is one of the most prestigious in its field, has been held under the professional auspices of the Association for the Development of the Real Estate Market (ARTN), which brings together prominent personalities of the Czech development scene and related fields. The announcer and organizer of the competition is the company BEST OF REALTY, s.r.o., which in its preparation and implementation works closely not only with professional associations, but also representatives of development companies and real estate agents, architects, banks, market research agencies and other relevant entities of the Czech real estate and development market.

The prizes awarded in the basic categories Residential Projects, New Administrative Centers, Reconstructed Offices, Shopping Centers, Hotels and Industrial and Warehouses for 2022 are decided by a nine-member expert jury, headed by Tomáš Drtina, vice president of the ARTN board. The professional jury also awards one Special Jury Prize within each year. Every year, the guarantor of the competition, the Association for the Development of the Real Estate Market, announces the special Award for Excellence and presents it at the gala evening.

Other prizes awarded in the Best of Realty competition are the Environmentally Friendly Project (selected by the Czech Green Building Council as the category guarantor of all nominated projects) and the Hall of Fame (award for a prominent figure leaving a significant mark on the domestic real estate market) . Last but not least, lay people can vote for the best real estate project without choosing categories, voting on the competition website www.bestofrealty.cz and through the websites of media partners. The winner of this poll will receive the Readers' Award from the gala evening.

Applicants for the title "Best of Realty - Best of Real Estate 2022" in the relevant category must send an electronic application to the competition organizer no later than September 2, 2022 - a completed nomination form (https://www.bestofrealty.cz/prihlaska/) together with quality exterior photographs and interior project. Applications and photos can be sent electronically now.

In order for a project to be entered in the competition, it must meet several basic conditions: it must be completed (and approved) in the Czech Republic after 1 January of the previous year, so in the case of the 24th year it is 1 January 2021, and he was not nominated for the title in his category in the previous year. However, its next stages completed in a given period can be entered in the competition, especially those that bring a new dimension or function to the locality in which they grow. At the time of the application deadline, the project may be in the process of approval. It must always be a project of at least 50 percent intended for the market, ie a project intended for sale or lease.

The decisive criteria in assessing the quality of the submitted projects are the choice of location, urban and architectural solutions, the quality of implementation, environmental friendliness and, of course, success in the real estate market. Thus, only a project that brings significant added value compared to others can receive the award. Those interested in the nomination can get acquainted with the rules of the competition and its past years on the competition website www.bestofrealty.cz.

On the occasion of announcing the results of the competition, the organizer publishes a clear yearbook each year. It always represents nominated and winning projects in individual categories as well as winners from previous years. Last year, almost 50 projects applied for the awards. Among the winners were projects throughout the Czech Republic: in addition to Prague, projects in Pilsen, Chrášťany, Mělník, Český Krumlov, Strážné, Jihlava, Prostějov, Olomouc, Brno and Pustevny were also awarded.
