Industrial Research Forum Announces Stock and Property Market Data in Q1 2019

The Industrial Research Forum is pleased to announce its final stock market data for the Czech Republic in the first quarter of 2019.

The Health Insurance Company of the Ministry of the Interior and the Czech Industrial Health Insurance Company opened their branches in the Nová Karolina Park building in Ostrava

Nová Karolina Park administration building in the center of Ostrava has expanded its offer of public services with two new contact points for Czech insurance companies. The Health Insurance Company of the Ministry of the Interior (ZP MV ČR) also leased 570 m2 of offices in addition to its branch office, located on 125 m2 on the ground floor at the entrance to the courtyard of the building. The Czech Industrial Health Insurance Company (ČPZP) also opened its branch on 68 m2 on the ground floor of the northern part of the building towards the shopping center.

A new multifunctional cultural and congress center O 2 universum will be launched in September 2019 . It should serve as a center for large international congresses and corporate events. "The main goal of the project is to bring congress events that have not previously come to Prague - either by the number of participants or by the exhibition space requirements associated with the congress," says Robert Schaffer, Chairman and CEO of Bestsport and O 2 Arena.

CA IMMO: Success in the lease of Prague office properties

Nile House and Visionary office buildings are now completely leased. Visionary was awarded the WELL certification as the first office building in the CEE region. In the first quarter of 2019, CA Immo concluded lease agreements for approximately 10,000 square meters of lettable area.

Developers expect a significant decline in the supply of industrial properties, and negative figures will come in Prague and regions

While in 2019 the supply of industrial properties will still be at the level of stagnation (growth of 1.1 percent in the regions, decline of 0.6 percent in Prague), it will fall significantly in the long run to negative figures. Growth in demand will continue to exceed supply, although developers predict a downward trend. The driving force of demand is currently the need for companies to expand their production area and seek better conditions.
