New Prague Concert Building

Sound architectural names will be part of the third block of the conference, which will focus on the development of architecture in the Czech Republic, especially in connection with the already mentioned intention to build a new Prague concert building. According to current plans, it should grow as part of the revitalization of the Bubny-Zátory area on the left bank of the Vltava River near the Vltavská metro station in Prague's Holešovice district.

Besides the performances of Diller and Prix , the most inspiring contemporary concert buildings in the world will be presented here, followed by an open discussion with the participation of the most awarded Czech architects and urban planners. Thanks to close cooperation with the Czech Chamber of Architects, the participants of the event can also see the exhibition of the Czech Prize for Architecture, which will present this year's finalists of this prestigious competition.

Evaluation of development as well as exclusive surveys

Traditionally, the conference will touch on the building development itself of the country, which the Association for Architecture and Development is striving for in particular. The first block, entitled “How to Bring the Building Development of Prague and the Czech Republic Forward?” Will thus focus on the possibilities of the state and the capital city of Prague to achieve significant progress in the area of building development and shortening of permitting processes. It will also assess what has been achieved since the Spring Summit in March. There will also be the results of an exclusive poll of not only the Prague coalition one year after the municipal elections.

The second block of the conference entitled “What public administration can do for the construction development of Prague and what private investors can do” will bring, among other things, an investor's view of the paralysis of Prague's construction development and its possible unblocking. Jiří Nouza, President of the Association of Building Entrepreneurs of the Building Industry Association, will evaluate the impacts of the endless permitting process on the economy and the entire construction industry.

The Association for Architecture and Development (SAR) is a working think-tank of experts in architecture, construction, economics and law. It is a connection of people who are not indifferent to the long-term paralysis of the building development of our country. The members of this think tank share a common view that our country cannot live only from its past, but that it must develop, otherwise it will not fail . Therefore, they want to actively comment on the problems and together try to change things for the better.
