This new collection returns to the basics—the human body and its needs. In workspaces, the body, its needs, and limits are often overlooked. “We want to show that even furniture, typically seen as purely utilitarian, can carry emotional value and become an inspiring element of the interior,” says Eliška Novák Knotková, founder of Balance is Motion.

At the heart of the collection is a wellbeing structure designed to invite hanging, stretching, and massaging tired muscles. It’s not just about supporting healthy sitting or standing—it’s a deliberate interruption of the work rhythm, a gentle yet essential prompt to pause and return to oneself. “We believe that true work quality stems from how we feel,” Knotková adds.

The PerSoma collection features flexible desks and multifunctional mobile walls that serve as seating spaces, sources of light, greenery, and quiet. An innovative attachment system allows the integration of various accessories such as acoustic panels, pinboards, LED lighting, and plants.

PerSoma combines traditional craftsmanship with modern design and eco-friendly materials, such as recycled Buxkin leather and certified Kvadrat textiles. It is manufactured in Humpolec, the home of Profil Nábytek.

“Collaborating with Balance is Motion is an opportunity to show that Czech furniture-making not only has strong manufacturing roots but also the courage to experiment and explore new directions,” says David Čermák, Business Development Manager at Profil Nábytek.

The PerSoma collection will be showcased at Designblok in the Křižík Pavilions, in the Superstudio building at booth KC.03. The installation offers a chance to experience the office environment with a touch of humor—inviting visitors to hang, stretch, and take a deep breath.
