The IQ Ostrava building is located in the heart of Ostrava and on more than 22,000 m2 it provides a sophisticated working environment where a strong emphasis on ecology is evident - from energy-saving heating to watering plants with well water and energy-saving LED lighting to green roof terraces in the first, the ninth and twelfth floors, which improve the microclimate, support biodiversity and bring nature into the urban environment. Thanks to the availability of a bike path and shared bikes, or the proximity of major public transport hubs, the building supports a sustainable way of transporting workers. The building also offers a range of civic services including a fitness centre, dining room and the Clubco co-working center from developer CTP, enlivening both professional and community life.

"Renting in IQ Ostrava will allow us to reduce operating costs and at the same time be closer to commuter employees and clients. All important transport nodes, such as the central bus station, the railway station and the main trolleybus loop, are located in the vicinity of the new headquarters. In addition to the offices, the Client Center will also move to 28 Octíva street. It will be in one of the most accessible places in Ostrava," says Jan Rafaj, CEO of the Czech branch of HEIMSTADEN.

HEIMSTADEN is a traditional supporter of a green policy, digitizing a number of processes and simplifying tenancy relationships. Hand in hand, it thus continues its mission to reduce its carbon footprint. Every year, it reduces the energy demand of buildings through intensive insulation. This year alone, it plans to invest 665 million crowns in insulation projects and reduce CO2 production by up to 3,000 tons.

The cooperation between HEIMSTADEN and CTP not only represents a significant milestone in the development of both companies, but also promises a positive impact on prosperity and sustainability in the Moravian-Silesian region, opening new avenues for community engagement and environmental initiatives.

"We are very appreciative that the HEIMSTADEN company chose our IQ Ostrava project as its new base in the Moravian-Silesian region. We look forward to the cooperation and believe that with a joint approach to development and sustainability we will positively influence the environment in this region," said Jakub Kodr, CEO and Commercial Director of CTP in the Czech Republic.
