“The decisive criteria of the new seat of our company were primarily the location of BB Centrum, which lies close to important traffic arteries and metro stations, the possibility to have all the departments all in one place and also the opportunity to build offices that enable the use of the latest technologies for the effective balance between working from home and from the office,” explained Jaromír Staroba, the CEO of AbInBev.

ABInBev was also intrigued by the building philosophy based on reconstruction instead of constructing a new building. Sustainability is one of the main principles of ABInBev, which has, for example, set a goal of using energy solely from renewable resources within 5 years. Thus, ABInBev will only be using green energy for lighting in the offices.

We are very pleased that the successful multinational company ABInBev has relocated to Brumlovka and we are sure that its employees will be satisfied here, not only during working hours, but that they will also appreciate the offer of leisure activities that we organise here in our neighbourhood community. ABInBev has leased almost half the office space in Building B and has thus become the majority tenant. There is still the last 1 500 m2 left to lease. In the autumn of this year Passerinvest Group is also planning on opening a flexible office and coworking centre in the building with an area of 3 000 m2,” stated Lenka Preslová, the Head of the Sales Department of Passerinvest Group.

“In ABInBev, we believe in the power of data and new technologies. Therefore, we will have a control centre with live data in the offices to control, for example, all the lorries within Europe and containers globally. Our own BMS system for monitoring the occupancy of the offices and Zoom technology in most of the meeting rooms allow us to safely and efficiently combine work from home and from the office at the same time. One of the basic principles of our Prague digital ABI hub is also an emphasis on diversity and inclusion. We contribute, globally and locally, to the support of disadvantaged communities and actively train our employees in the area of inclusion,” added Jaromír Staroba.

“We are glad that we helped ABInBev find an office solution that enables the consolidation of all the teams under one roof, while also using an interesting opportunity on the office market that one doesn’t encounter very often. BB Centrum offered this unique solution with the reconstruction of Building B, which subsequently enabled ABInBev to locate its offices in the heart of the entire complex and to use all the benefits that BB Centrum offers. These mainly include the location in Prague 4 with direct access to the main artery and the southern ring road, just like its vicinity to mass transit, a wide offer of services within walking distance and last, but not least, the facilities of an experienced owner, that provides above-standard care to its tenants,” explained Jan Mechl, Director of Tenant Representation in JLL.

Building B has 8 storeys with a total of 15,600 m2 of office space and 1240 m2 of retail space. Following the extensive reconstruction completed last June, it ranks among category A office buildings. It offers an atrium with water features, greenery and benches connected to a new public space, náměstí Ellen G. Whiteové.
