With seven floors above ground and two levels of garaged parking and services below, Nile House comprises 17,650 m2 office space, net, and a further 1,700 m2 cafés, restaurants and retail.
The heart of the building is an outstanding light, hi-tech, glass atrium: transparent from the outside to expose the activities of business life inside, and transparent from the inside to expose attractive views that can be enjoyed from each office.
The staircase will be the focus of the atrium: a giant sculptural stainless steel folded helix emphasising the very nature of the building. The atrium is doubleglazed for heat retention and soundproofing and houses live vegetation.
Together with the Danube House, the two buildings can be recognised as belonging to one family but with different atmospheres and features, thus achieving a new urban location that is greater than the sum of its parts.
Close proximity to excellent transport links makes Nile House an ideal location for business activities. The site offers easy access by car and public transport. Wilsonova Street is close at hand providing excellent access to Prague’s Ruzyň International Airport as well as to all major highways. Two underground metro lines have their stations in the immediate vicinity (Křižíkova and Florenc). The tram station that is 3 min walk from Nile House is Karlínské náměstí. Lines available on this station are 8 and 24, and it takes 7 minutes (3 stops) to the city center (Náměstí republiky).
In close proximity there are nice restaurants with Czech, Italian or Chinese cuisine ideal for lunchbreaks.
