Hall S3 was completed in autumn 2023, recently received Breeam Excellent certification and now knows its tenant. The online store bezvapostele.cz, which sells beds, mattresses, bed frames, as well as other furniture and accessories, will build a central sales warehouse for the entire Czech Republic and Slovakia.

"The conceptual concept of our park is based on the fact that we want it to be a place where business thrives. It is designed in such a way that production, logistics, service, administration and sales work side by side, for tenants from various segments. We believe that this diversity, in which we perceive a certain element of sustainability, is attractive to tenants," says Aleš Zacha, head of P3 development.

In the first two stages, a total of six buildings were created in P3 Ostrava Central. They are accessible both from the roundabout at Rudná and from the exit from Místecká. "Our assortment is voluminous and the warehouse facilities of a regular store are inadequate for it. Therefore, we were looking for warehouse spaces that would have good accessibility, sufficient capacity and at the same time allow customers to inspect the goods, convenient parking and easy loading," reveals Vladimír Hodina, commercial director of Bezvapostele.cz. The store, which mainly offers beds and mattresses of Czech or Slovak production, has 500 products in stock and dispatches 30-50 pallet shipments daily using its own cars and contracted carriers. It should move to new premises at the end of the summer.

A number of companies are already operating in the aforementioned commercial and industrial park, many of which, in addition to storage, use the premises variably. Linde Material Handling has a store, rental, service and demonstration center for handling technology in P3 park in Ostrava. Tefcold, a distributor of refrigeration equipment, also has a customer showroom and extensive administrative facilities in addition to the warehouse, to which the company's headquarters have moved. Distributors of toys (Canpol babies), newspapers (PNS) and beer (Zítek) also operate in the park.

P3 Ostrava Central is being built on a brownfield at the site of a former raw material dump in Vítkovice. In the first two stages, P3 has already built 60,000 m2 of business space, further construction will follow in the coming years. In addition to the buildings in the park, a new transport infrastructure is also being created. For future connection to public transport, so-called bays for bus stops are also built here. Greenery is returning to the site, benches, a work-out field or a covered smoking room are available for tenants' employees around the buildings.
