Description



Construction of the architecturally unique Building E began in the middle of 2005. Its location in the immediate proximity to the trunk road caused the necessity of acoustic treatment in order to reduce the reflection of traffic noise from the façade of the building. As with the recently completed Building Gamma, this type of solution serves as a distinctive architectural element. In this case, the original, new treatment is represented by the system of so-called perforated façade, together with the application of acoustically absorbent materials.
Designed with seven above ground storeys and four basements, Building E offers 14,600 square metres of office space. The underground car park has a capacity of more than 300 cars. There are catering facilities and conference rooms with sliding walls for added flexibility on the ground floor. The triangular atrium with panoramic lifts connects the floors and, at the same time, allows natural light into the offices facing the atrium. Building E, like the previous buildings, boasts a roof garden.

Description of Location

BB Centrum is a new urban centre in Prague 4. This truly unique development project started to take shape towards the end of the last millennium and currently ranks among the most comprehensive developments in this country. Aside from prime office space, it offers a great many shops and services, along with housing, educational and healthcare facilities, restaurants, sports amenities and, last but not least, the ever-present greenery.
